Misturinha 64 rolou depois de um longo papo com o Lucio K - é sentar e se orgulhar. The inspiration to Misturinha 64 (Little Mixture 64) ! happened after a long chat with Lucio K about brazilian music - so here I am presenting the new artists Lucio K , dude Marcelinho Da Lua, Cordão do Boitatá and Guab - 2 foreign bands ( Pizzicato Five and Cibo Matto ) influenced by brazilian music playing some of our classics and lots of ol´artists showing the best of some traditional brazilian grooves. 2nd January 89: I was in London for the first time for a 45 days trip all around Europe... as I remember Buffalo Stance - Neneh Cherry , Deus - Sugarcubes and definetly Megablast / Beat Dis from Bomb the Bass ! At that trip, I left behind being bass player of punk rock band and bought a Roland TR-626, a Vesta-Fire 4 track recorder and a Yamaha Dx 100 synth... my life was changed. Tim Simenon (17 y.o - genius and the man behind Bomb the Bass ) made my true definition for life - the britain´s inventor of House Music pushed DIY (do it yourself) to the limit.
