Back in 88-89 : I was 17/18 y.o when I met Edinho, he is a little older than me and was starting djing at the best club Rio ever had - "Crepusculo de Cubatão" - most of the best djs of Brazil played there: Edinho, Zé Roberto Mahr, Zé Pedro, Ricardinho NS, Felipe Venancio, Amandio, LC Ambient, EdHunter .. wow really miss a lot those years, everything was happening, best drinks, dopes and best people a club in Rio could have. I was a dj either and was playing a lot at private parties and was a complete music maniac (like listen at least 5 hours a day - everyday ! every kind of music !) all those djs help me a lot showing all the stuff, specially Edinho and Amandio..Me and Edinho became very close friends, like brothers, all those years helping each other when the things get tough. Since early nineties he became the best rock dj in town and I really don´t know who else in Brazil is better than him !
A very brief story about him:
Since Mid 80´s: He plays guitar in KONGO (a legendary Ska band).
Late 80´s:- He was the guitar player of BLACK FUTURE (Não Wave (2005) CD by Man Recordings from Berlim, Germany http://www.manrecordings.com/) the best post-punk band from Rio.
Early 90´s: He played on DOGS IN ORBIT one of the best grunge bands in Brazil.
Since 1989: Electroboogie / Aliennation parties are the best place to be.
