The inspiration to Misturinha 64 (Little Mixture 64) ! happened after a long chat with Lucio K about brazilian music - so here I am presenting the new artists Lucio K, dude Marcelinho Da Lua, Cordão do Boitatá and Guab - 2 foreign bands (Pizzicato Five and Cibo Matto) influenced by brazilian music playing some of our classics and lots of ol´artists showing the best of some traditional brazilian grooves. I suggest to ones who doesn´t know much about it to listen carefully to the artists Mutantes (the band of "the psychedelic genius "Arnaldo Baptista "a tropicalista Syd Barret" I should say, Rita Lee and Sergio Dias) , the fantastic Tim Maia and Jorge Ben.
